Cashew and Mint Vegan Sauce

A good sauce for salads and hot dishes, and it is easy and fast to prepare.

Cashew and Mint Sauce Recipe

Vegan, lactose-free and gluten free.

Yield: approximately 100ml


Time: 4 hours for the sauce + 5 minutes to blend


1/4 cup raw cashew nut


Salt to taste

Lemon juice to taste

Fresh mint leaves to taste


  1. Soak the nuts for about 4 hours or for a few minutes in warm water;

  2. Discard the soak water and blend it, adding water slowly until it becomes a smoothie cream with the desired texture;

  3. Then add salt, lemon and mint leaves to taste and blend again. It's ready!
