Creamy Banana Pie


Bananas can be found all the world, and several cultures have benefit by their use, because are healthy and delicious.

For this recipe, bananas confer creaminess and sweetness to the pie. And because has no gluten, no lactose and no sugar, can be eaten by people with dietary restrictions. Besides is very simple to be prepared.

Time: 1 hora

Pie Ingredients

1250 grams of ripe banana or 8 large units

10 dates

2 tablespoon sunflower oil

1 cup of raw manioc flour

6 teaspoons cinnamon powder

1 pinch of salt

Cover Ingredients

1 cup dates

2 tablespoon cocoa powder

1 teaspoon natural vanilla essence

1/2 cup water to blend

1 pinch of cardamom powder

1 pinch ground cinnamon

1 pinch of clove powder

Direction for the pie

Soak the dates for a few hours or boil them until tender. Discard the water.

Blend the bananas (except 1 ½ banana) and dates until it forms a homogeneous mass.

Add the oil, the cassava flour and cinnamon and blend until complete mixing.

Place it in a oiled ovenproof dish with manioc flour, and add the chopped banana.

Bake it in medium temperature for approximately 40 minutes.

Directions for the cover

Soak separately the dates. Discard the water and blend with remaining ingredients in blender or food processor.

Add cover to the and finish putting nuts on it.
