Festive Dried Fruits Candies
Delicious and healthy, these candies are a great option to sweeten your life!
Serves: About 16 units
Yield: 4 hours to soak + 15 minutes to prepare
1 ½ cup dried dates
1 cup prune
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Coconut oil to shape the candies
30 g of crushed Brazil nuts
Soak dates and prunes for a few hours or boil quickly. Plums need less soak time because they are softer.
Discard the soaking water and mix all ingredients in a food processor, little by little.
Use coconut oil shape balls and put on them the crushed nuts.
According to Ayurveda, this is a cold, heavy and nutritious food.
To better digestibility of this, avoid consuming it cold, but at room temperature.
Consume it moderately.
