Coconut Milk


Coconut Milk

Serves: 3 cups of milk

Difficulty: Medium

TIme: 40 minutes

Ingredients

1 brown coconut

3 cups of water

Directions

  1. Using a cleaned metal nail and a hammer make two holes in two of the three "darker points" of coconut;

  2. Remove the coconut water and drink it (I guess you will not resist it kkk!);

  3. Place in freezer for 30 minutes;

  4. Remove from freezer and put inside a plastic bag and throw it on the floor to open the coconut;

  5. Remove the coconut pulp using a spoon. Mix together in a blender with 3 cups of warm water;

  6. Strain the milk with a tissue or a sieve, pressing well to extract all the liquid. It's ready! Enjoy it!

Ayurveda

This milk is cold and heavy to Ayurveda.

  • Increases Kapha Dosha;

  • Decreases Pitta Dosha*;

  • Decreases Vata Dosha*.

* To increase digestibility and to prevent toxin formation, consume in warm state with the addition of herbs and spices, as follows:

Sweet preparations: cinnamon, ginger, anise, cloves, cardamom and etc;

Savory preparations: ginger, black pepper, various peppers.
